About Us

We founded Hold Fast Sailing in 2019 to merge our passion for sailing with our love of good design.  We are a husband and wife team who have been sailing as a sport and hobby for over a decade and have been designing products professionally for even longer.

Sailing is a one of the beautiful things in life.  You and your boat gently cut through the sparkling water powered only by the wind that you feel on your face.  Sailing can also feel elitist, unapproachable, and laden with technical details and know-how resulting from its over thousand year history.  This disconnect is one we hope to remedy.

We created Hold Fast Sailing to design and bring life to products that allow you to better experience this wonderful sport with more enjoyment, confidence, and simplicity.  We hope you share this belief so we can set off on this adventure together.
